Southern Bancorp CEO Darrin Williams Appointed To LR Tech Park Board

The Little Rock Technology Park announced that Darrin Williams was appointed to the Authority’s Board effective immediately.
Williams is the CEO of Arkadelphia-based Southern Bancorp and is a former State Representative from Little Rock.
Williams will complete the term of Bob Johnson, who resigned from the Board on November 12, 2014.
UALR Chancellor Joel Anderson said the appointment of Darrin Williams was based on his outstanding leadership in the Little Rock community and his distinguished record in public service.
“Mr. Williams’ background and experience in finance, law, and politics will be a great asset to the board, particularly at this time. I am grateful for his willingness to accept this appointment,” said Chancellor Anderson.
“We welcome Mr. Williams to the board,” said Brent Birch, Executive Director of the Little Rock Technology Park. “He brings to the board a wealth of diverse knowledge and experience and we look forward to benefiting from his input and guidance.”
