Nathaniel Bachelor strives to grow, lead and rise to the top of his field. He is a stockholder/owner at CEI Engineering and represents the employee stock ownership program to the company’s board of directors.

Bachelor joined CEI in 2005, directly out of the civil engineering program at the University of Missouri at Rolla (now the Missouri University of Science & Technology). He has had key input and oversight into more than $100 million of commercial development in Northwest Arkansas during the past 10 years, and is currently involved exclusively with projects for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., managing them from conception through construction.

Bachelor joined the Emerging Leaders Alliance through the American Society of Professional Engineers, and he became licensed as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.

“My passion for protecting the land, water and environment around me motivates me to continue sustainable land development for the benefit of society,” he said.

Bachelor was raised in southern Missouri, and said his father taught him the value of hard work. He was drawn to engineering because he loved to solve problems and take things apart to see how they work, and why they don’t.

Bachelor is an active member of the Rogers Early Risers Rotary Club and a community volunteer. As an advocate for science, tech, engineering and mathamatics education, he also enjoys speaking to students at local colleges and universities.
