Festival of Trees

The holidays are almost here and to celebrate, the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce will host its 10th annual Festival of Trees on December 6. Held in conjunction with the Crawford County Courthouse Lighting Ceremony and the Old Town Merchants Association's Living Windows, the Christmas tradition draws hundreds each year to mark the start of the season in downtown Van Buren. Uniquely decorated trees, sponsored by local businesses and organizations, will line the courthouse lawn for visitors to browse and enjoy. The trees will be judged for their overall appearance and decor by a Chamber panel, with winners announced at the lighting ceremony. The trees will remain on display through December 28.

Admission to the Festival of Trees is free and open to the public. Living Windows will follow the festival and courthouse lighting ceremony, which will begin at 6 p.m.
