Frost PLLC Slips on Groups Annual List of Largest Firms
Little Rock-based Frost PLLC fell several spots on Inside Public Accounting’s annual list of the 200 largest public accounting firms.
Frost remains the only Arkansas-based company on the list, ranked by U.S. net revenue from the most recent fiscal year.
The independent rankings use data gathered from IPA’s survey and analysis firms, which attracted a record number of more than 540 participants.
Frost, which has an office in Fayetteville, was ranked No. 140 on this year’s list, released in September, with revenue of $21.54 million, representing a 2.8 percent decrease from the previous year and a ranking of No. 128.
The accounting industry’s Big Four firms, Deloitte ($13.8 billion in revenue), PwC ($11 billion), Ernst & Young ($9.1 billion) and KPMG ($6.1 billion), each experienced big gains to top the list.
Ernst & Young and PwC each have offices in Northwest Arkansas.
Among other out-of-state firms with a local office, HoganTaylor LLP of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was ranked No. 120 with revenue from the most recent fiscal year of $25.99 in revenue. That’s up eight percent from the previous year and a ranking of No. 123.
For the most recent fiscal year, IPA 200 firms range in size from $14 million to $31 million, and from 60 to 235 employees.
These firms employ more than 12,000 staff across the nation, up 9 percent from last year.
