Centennial Bank Breaks Ground For New Banking Center in Fort Smith
Publicly held Centennial Bank of Conway broke ground Sept. 9 for a new banking center in Fort Smith.
The 5,100-SF development at 5801 Rogers Ave. just west of Interstate 540 is the former site of a hotel, Hometown Inn & Suites, which was razed prior to the bank’s purchase of the property.
Centennial bought the one-acre property in April for $1.25 million.
“Our new branch is in a superb location on Rogers Avenue, and we know it will facilitate and enhance our continued growth in the community,” said Greg Rotter, the bank’s market president for Crawford and Sebastian counties.
The building is scheduled to open in March, and will be the bank’s third full-service location in Fort Smith.
It will feature three drive-thru lanes, a 24-hour ATM and night depository.
