Sen. John Boozman (R) has returned to work at his office in Washington, D.C.
“It’s great to be back at work in Washington. Thank you for your prayers, support & encouragement,” Boozman said on his Twitter account earlier today.
It included this picture from his Washington office.
Boozman, 63, underwent emergency heart surgery in late April after experiencing pain in his chest and arm. Doctors diagnosed him with an acute aortic dissection and performed successful surgery to repair his heart.
Boozman told the Associated Press on Monday (June 9) that he planned to run for re-election in 2016.
