Bentonville-based Movista LLC announced Tuesday that the Fast to GO application developed for the Wal-Mart To GO convenience store is up and running.

The free app, which allows users to pre-order deli foods from the brand new Wal-Mart to GO concept store, was released last week to both The App Store and Google Play.

“The app is super simple to use and eliminates line-time for customers,” said Movista Co-Founder April Seggebruch. “There are a lot of apps in the world but one that gets me hot ribs and cold potato salad is magic in my book.”

Wal-Mart to GO customers have the option of ordering food directly from the in-store deli or they can use the Fast to GO application to pre-order one or more meals, customize their orders and even schedule an in-store pick-up time.

Wal-Mart to GO, which opened on March 19th, is a brand new convenience concept store located less than a mile from the retailer’s headquarters. Inside the roughly 5000-square-foot market, customers can experience an automated milkshake machine, order and eat made-to-order meals through a Bentonville Butcher and Deli counter located inside, or do some core item shopping while filling up their cars with gas.

Fast to GO is the first consumer facing application Movista has built. The company, founded in 2010, specializes in developing smart device-based management tools. Clients include Wal-Mart, Meijer, Serv-U-Success, Ghirardelli Chocolates, Lindt Chocolates, Tempur-Pedic and TracPhone.
