Country Outfitter Launches New Business Segments
Fayetteville-based holding company Acumen Brands Inc. has recently launched three new business units of its Country Outfitter e-commerce company.
A company news release said the initiatives, which are accessible through the website CountryOutfitter.com, are intended to support the company’s goal of becoming a wide-ranging Southern lifestyle destination.
Marketplace, one of the new programs, features products from small, local vendors who might not otherwise have access to Country Outfitter’s 10 million online customers.
In February, Country Outfitter launched another new program called Flash Sales, giving customers access to a limited quantity of sale items at a deep discount for a limited time.
Country Outfitter Style was launched as a destination for pop culture, fashion and entertainment. The website has already streamed the premiere of a never-before-released Johnny Cash song, and launched the new album from country singer Ronnie Dunn.
“We are creating a billion dollar company to drive economic growth for the region,” John James, the company CEO, said in the release. “We will continue to expand into business areas that serve our 10 million fans.”
Acumen also opened a Country Outfitter brick-and-mortar retail store on the square in downtown Fayetteville in 2013.
