The Trauma Team at Summit Medical Center wants to make sure your little passenger is safe and secure. They are teaming up with the Injury Prevention Division of the Arkansas Department of Health to sponsor a free child safety seat check-up event from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Feb. 21 at Walmart in Van Buren.
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death and injury for all children, according to AAA. When used correctly, child safety seats can reduce the risk of death by as much as 71 percent.
Our trained experts will be on hand to answer questions and help with the correct installation of your child’s car seat. Please bring your child, their car seat and your primary vehicle to ensure proper installation.
