Amanda Brumbelow loves to work. When she’s not at Waco Title Co., she is thinking about her job and upcoming transactions.

She has a thirst for knowledge and wants to reach a level of expertise to where she is known as the closing guru for her company.

Brumbelow was recruited at age 19 to join a small abstract company, was quickly promoted and found a love for the industry.

She took a hiatus from that career to raise her two daughters, although she said she never really stopped working. Her role as an example to her daughters is one of the driving forces in her dedication to success.

In 2002, she opened a child care center. That venture represents one of her proudest professional accomplishments and is still in operation today under a different owner.

When she and her business partner sold the business in 2005, Brumbelow returned to the title business.

She joined the staff at Waco in 2012. “I knew Waco was somewhere I could really grow. I saw the potential,” she said.

In November 2013, she was promoted to department manager. “I worked hard for a long time and it was good to see that someone else sees it and appreciates it.”

She looks forward to continuing to grow with Waco, and is very happy where she is.

One of the favorite aspects of her job is that it is ever-changing. “There’s a different challenge every day,” she said.
