Bentonville Estate to Host A-List Event

The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s 2nd annual A-List Event, designed to honor excellence in residential real estate, will be held March 18 at one of Northwest Arkansas’ most upscale homes.
This year’s event, sponsored by City Title & Closing LLC of Fayetteville, will be inside a private, gated property at 8015 McNelly Road, a 15,039-SF, European-style estate on 50 acres in northeast Bentonville.
Construction of the furnished home, led by developer Jim Brassart, was completed in 2008. It is now owned by two local investors and being marketed by Portfolio Luxury Real Estate Redefined of Rogers for $3.4 million.
The residence includes a 1,200 bottle wine cellar, 100-yard underground shooting range and safe room with a bank vault door.
The property also includes a 4,909-SF, six-stall horse barn and 6,000-SF workshop.
The listing was a recent winner of uniquehomes.com’s “Ultimate Kitchen” contest, beating 12 other finalists from around the world with sale prices up to $18.9 million.
Last year’s A-List event, a limited-ticket affair held at the Dromborg Castle in Fayetteville, drew a crowd of close to 150 real estate brokers, bankers and other professionals.
There are 200 tickets available for this year’s event, which begins at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $15 if ordered in advance and $20 at the door.
