Economic Development Announcement Scheduled Monday in Rogers

Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe and Bill Simon, president and CEO of Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s U.S. division, will hold a press conference Monday with additional details of a new supplier manufacturing and distribution facility in Rogers.
According to a news release, the announcement is part of Walmart’s commitment to buy an additional $50 billion in U.S.-made products over the next decade.
The news conference will begin at 11 a.m. at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers.
