Cade joins USA Truck as VP of maintenance
James Cade has been hired as vice president of maintenance for Van Buren-based USA Truck.
Cade most recently served as vice president of field maintenance for National Express Corporation, where he directed the maintenance program for its fleet of 22,000 school and transit buses. Earlier in his career, Cade served as director of fleet maintenance for ServiceMaster, with responsibility for more than 15,000 units; as executive vice president of maintenance and purchasing for Arrow Trucking; and as vice president of maintenance for Ryder System, with responsibility for 180,000 trucks.
“Jim is a key addition to our expanded and strengthened management team,” said USA Truck President and CEO John Simone. “He will spearhead one of our primary initiatives — to enhance USA Truck’s maintenance process so that we can continue improving our customer service, vehicle uptime and profit potential.”

Cade has been a member of the Technology and Maintenance Council since 1986 and is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance. He earned an Associate of Science in Diesel Engineering from Des Moines Area Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with honors, from Nova-Southeastern University in Florida.
