Forty Under 40 Honorees Have Made An Impression

The 40 young go-getters we’re about to introduce are the best and brightest in their industry, with a wide variety of skill sets and credentials.

Each of these men and women has a distinct role in the business community, and they all have unique stories.

But something they have in common is they’ve made an impression on the people in their lives.

We received nearly 130 nominations for our 17th annual Forty Under 40 class. They were given to us in an effort to recognize personal and professional accomplishments.

Friends, business associates and industry partners of our honorees thought enough of their talents to nominate them, and we had the tough task of narrowing down an impressive group of recommendations to finalize this year’s class.

We are proud to offer you a glimpse of who they are and celebrate their achievements. This year’s class is comprised of 24 men and 16 women — incidentally, the same breakdown as last year’s class — covering a wide array of industries from the six-country coverage area.

Of course we can’t fit all of what they shared with us on these pages, but it’s our hope we’ve painted an accurate picture of their successes.

In addition to the profiles in this issue, the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal will formally honor this year’s class Aug. 20 during a luncheon at the Embassy Suites in Rogers, highlighted by a keynote address from Doug McMillon, president and CEO of Walmart International.

Last year’s event attracted close to 500 attendees, and we are expecting an equally strong crowd again this year.

The energy level is palpable, which should go without saying, considering we put 40 overachieving professionals under the age of 40 in a room to network with their family, friends and colleagues.

It’s always a fun time. And so is the production of this issue. We hope you enjoy the finished product.

Editor’s note: Profiles for this year’s Forty Under 40 class were compiled and written by Paul Gatling, Richard Massey, Rick Harvey and Susannah Swearingen.
