Beebe, Ross To Make Announcement Saturday

The Mike Ross for Governor campaign says that Gov. Mike Beebe (D) and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mike Ross will “make an announcement on Saturday at the State Capitol in downtown Little Rock.”
The event will be on the east side of the Arkansas capitol at 10am.
Expect Beebe to make a full throttle endorsement of Ross, who is now the only declared Democratic candidate for Governor since former Lt. Gov. Bill Halter dropped out of the race last month. Beebe and Ross served in the Arkansas State Senate together in the 1990’s.
There are three Republican candidates announced for Governor, including Asa Hutchinson, Rep. Debra Hobbs, and Curtis Coleman.
Ross is slated to speak to the central Arkansas Political Animals Club Friday morning in Little Rock.
