Bahn Moving on From Arkansas Business

Chris Bahn, blazing a trail for Little Rock-based weekly publication Arkansas Business, has resigned.

Bahn, named the publication’s first-ever Northwest Arkansas editor in December, is planning to join the editorial staff of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as a business reporter.

After six years with Arkansas Business Publishing Group, Bahn’s last day with the company will be August 22.

At the ADG, he will continue to be based in Fayetteville, covering primarily the transportation and trucking industries. He’ll report to Rachel O’Neal Chaney, named the paper’s business editor in April.

Before becoming AB’s first reporter based in Northwest Arkansas, Bahn covered Arkansas sports as editor of the popular sports website arkansassports360.com, also under the ABPG umbrella.

The website, which also had a magazine component when it was launched in 2007, was closed in October.
