UA Advancement Division Announces Restructuring

University of Arkansas vice chancellor for advancement Chris Wyrick announced details July 10 of several personnel moves involving 11 employees within the division.

As part of the restructuring, Mark Power was named associate vice chancellor for development, the main fundraising arm of the advancement division, effective July 1. Power will replace the retiring Bruce Pontious.

Power’s leadership team includes Katy Nelson-Ginder (assistant vice chancellor of development for external relations), Brenda Brugger (assistant vice chancellor of development for internal operations) and Ashlie Hilburn (interim director of development for the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences).

Starting August 1, Greg Lewis will assume the duties of director of corporate and foundation relations in development.

In Wyrick’s office, Denise Reynolds is now vice chancellor of finance and human resources, Eunice Alberson is human resources manager and Stephanie McGuire is assistant to the finance officer. All promotions were effective July 1.

In the office of donor relations and special events, Melissa Banks was promoted to executive director, effective July 1. Ede Hogue (associate director) and Robin Adams (manager) will join her staff starting August 1.
