Charles Miller To Head Arkansas Environmental Federation

The Arkansas Environmental Federation Board of Directors has selected Charles M. Miller as AEF’s new Executive Director, effective August 5, 2013.

Miller has a long history in association management and is the former Senior Vice President of the Bankers Association and a former partner at the government relations firm Capitol Partners, LLC.

He will take over for Randy Thurman, who is retiring.

Miller is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and completed the Leadership School for State Executives at Duke University. He has previously served on the Board of the Historic Arkansas Museum Foundation and is a Past President of the Arkansas Society of Professional Lobbyists.

Miller is married to Kelli Nicholson Miller and has two children in college.

The Arkansas Environmental Federation is a non-profit association representing more than 300 members, including businesses and industries that deal with environmental, safety, and health regulations on a daily basis.

Formed in 1967, the AEF provides training for the regulated community on environmental compliance.
