Rogers, AR – Calling all Dads! Bring the family out to War Eagle Mill for a unique Fishing Derby this Father’s Day, June 16. Catch the heaviest, smallest or ugliest fish from the War Eagle Creek and win a prize! This fun event will be going on all day from 8:30 am – 4 pm. Winners announced at 4:30 pm.

Bring the family, fishing poles and bait along with a big smile as the War Eagle Mill crew will be taking pictures of you and your catch! Catch the heaviest fish and receive a special Father’s Day Gift Basket, which includes our famous Herald Ensley Fish Fry Mix! Catch the smallest fish or the ugliest fish and win a variety of prizes including WarEagle Mill gear and organic products!

Take a break from reeling in all those big catches from the Creek and enjoy all that we have to offer inside the Mill. Watch the water-wheel-powered mill grind organic grain into flour, shop two floors of tasty products and unique gifts and finally, energize with a hearty breakfast or lunch in our third floor Bean Palace Restaurant. Our restaurant is open from 8:30 am to 5 pm. From 4 pm to 5 pm is "Tea Time" serving only delicious cobbler and ice cream!

At War Eagle Mill, we have been rising above the daily grind since 1832. We grind fresh, organic, whole grain daily. War Eagle Mill is located at 11045 War Eagle Road about 20 minutes east of downtown Rogers and Springdale. We ask Dads and family to visit our sign up table when you arrive at the Mill and please use fishing poles only. Adults and children, 16 or older are required to have an Arkansas fishing license to participate. Children, 15 and younger are not required to have a fishing license. Five fish per contestant will be weighed during the competition.
