We here at Whispers did a double take when we saw Fayetteville Athletic Club owner Kevin Stegen had recently applied for a permit to serve wine and beer at the facility at 2920 E. Zion Road. We couldn’t help but wonder how that would fit into patrons’ fitness routines.
Stegen was out of town when Whispers put in a call to the club, but his assistant told us the idea is to serve the alcohol at FAC’s poolside café.
Not a bad way to end a workout.
