Petes Presence Will Increase
Regular readers will remember recent news of Jerry Carmichael’s departure from IberiaBank in Rogers. We’re still not exactly sure what opportunity Carmichael has chosen to pursue, though a couple of sources have indicated it might be a vendor-related endeavor.
What we do know is Carmichael’s departure means IberiaBank staff and customers can expect to see more of Pete Yuan, who serves as the bank’s Arkansas region president. Yuan told us during a pre-Christmas conversation he’ll be in the Northwest Arkansas market on a weekly basis for the foreseeable future.
Yuan is no stranger to the area, having been heavily involved in the bank’s expansion into Northwest Arkansas. IberiaBank currently operates seven locations in the area, and 34 across the state.
Yuan also told us IberiaBank feels “very good about the economic growth of the region,” and that locals can expect to see the bank expand its community presence in 2013. That comes on top of a handful of recent hires that beefed up the bank’s management staff in Northwest Arkansas.
