Rogers-based The Harvest Group was awarded the Arkansas Psychological Association’s 2012 Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award on Oct. 4. THG is a sales and marketing firm that helps link consumer packaged goods manufacturers and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. via collaborative strategies and go-to-market plans.

The APA considers a psychologically healthy workplace one that fosters employee health and well-being while enhancing organizational performance, benefiting both employees and the organization. Success is based, in part, on addressing the challenges unique to a particular organization and tailoring programs and policies to meet employee needs.

According to an APA news release, THG excelled in award categories for work-life balance, employee involvement, employee growth and development, health and safety, and employee recognition.

“We intentionally and systematically collaborate with each other, bringing a passion for sharing and reapplying so that our business is helped by what every team learns,” THG co-founder Bill Waitsman said.
