The shopping center now under construction near Scottsdale Center off Walnut Street will also house a Michaels Arts & Crafts store, Whispers has learned.
Marshall’s/HomeGoods and Shoe Carnival will also occupy the new shopping center behind the Bob Evans restaurant and Liberty Bank.
Michaels will be at 206 S. Promenade Blvd. BCS Hopper LLC, headed by developer Tom Hopper, took out a $1.65 million building permit for the address on July 25. The 60,000-SF center is slated for completion in January.
Michaels’ other Arkansas stores are in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Fort Smith and Hot Springs. The Irving, Texas-based company has more than 1,060 stores in the U.S. and Canada.
