Arkansas Democrats Help Iowa Congressional Candidate

Christie Vilsack, the former first lady of Iowa and current Congressional candidate is getting some help from some powerful Arkansas Democrats.
On June 21st, Vilsack is holding a fundraising luncheon in downtown Little Rock and has put together an impressive host committee for the event.
Governor Mike Beebe, Senator Mark Pryor and Attorney General Dustin McDaniel are just some of the heavy hitters on the fundraising host committee.
I’m told that many members of the host committee got to know the Vilsacks during Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Presidential run and they wanted to help repay their friendship by helping her defeat incumbent Republican Steve King in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District.
Christie’s husband, Tom, is a former two-term Governor of Iowa and currently serves at the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture.
