SoloPower has added General Wesley Clark, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander and a former U.S. Presidential candidate, to its board of directors as an independent director.
San Jose, Calif.-based SoloPower makes thin-film solar cells and modules, according to this Silicon Valley report.
SoloPower is also in the process of building a $340 million manufacturing facility in Portland, Oregon, which is expected to begin commercial production of thin-film solar energy products later this year.
