The World Trade Center Arkansas will host the Commercial Minister of Thailand for a trade seminar at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 5, at the organization’s headquarters in Rogers.
Minister Siripakorn is visiting the United States to promote trade with Thailand. With recent stops at San Diego and North Carolina, the minister is making Arkansas a key destination for Thailand trade relations.
In 2011, Arkansas companies sold $25.027 million dollars in merchandise to Thailand. Arkansas exports to Thailand jumped 105% from 2010, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce.
