Acxiom says it is looking to bring on hundreds of new tech workers as the Little Rock-based data and digital marketer adds a greater emphasis to its digital media strategies.
Scores of those jobs could be in Arkansas, but Acxiom is likely to recruit nationwide and worldwide, in some instances.

Acxiom is considering hiring in Arkansas as its recruiters compete with Silicon Valley and other metropolitan areas in search of talent.
Tim McKenna, Director of Staffing at Acxiom, said new hires will have a range of talent including software development, software testing, and product marketing and digital media. “So, we are looking for individuals that have a strong technology background and also the ability to learn new technologies,” he added.
McKenna hopes to fill 150 positions within the next six months. Most of those will be based in Acxiom’s offices in Little Rock, Conway and Fayetteville. Others hires will work at the company’s offices in San Francisco and New York.
