Spamalot never really gets old, does it?

The 2005 Tony Award winner for Best Musical comes to the Arkansas Best Performing Arts Center (the Fort Smith Convention Center) on Jan. 30.

The touring production of Monty Python’s Spamalot, a musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the film classic Monty Python and The Holy Grail, is based on the Tony Award winning direction of Mike Nichols, with a book by comedic actor Eric Idle and music and lyrics by the Grammy Award-winning team of Idle and John Du Prez.

The show depicts the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. Flying cows, killer rabbits, taunting Frenchmen and show-stopping musical numbers have had audiences doubled over laughing for years. Many see it more than once and would again, if they have the chance.
