Simmons First Promotes Two Employees In Conway
Simmons First National Bank announced the promotion of Candace J. Meeks and Joannie L. Shearer to Assistant Vice President.
Meeks serves as a Manager of Regional Sales and Quality Customer Service as well as a Branch Manager and Consumer Banking Officer for the Conway Branches in the Little Rock Region. She has more than 12 years of experience in financial services in the Conway market.
Meeks is a graduate of Central Baptist College where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Management. She has completed numerous internal bank training courses and founded the “Teach the Children to Save Program” in Conway for Simmons First. She is active in her community through her involvement on the Board of Directors for the Conway Chamber of Commerce as well as being an instructor for Junior Achievement and serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the United Way.
Shearer serves as a Branch Administrator Operations Manager and Consumer Banking Officer. She has more than 15 years of experience in financial services in the Conway market.
Shearer is a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School in Conway and attended the University of Central Arkansas. She is a recent graduate of the Faulkner County Leadership Institute and has completed numerous internal training programs. She gives back to the community through her volunteer involvement on the board for HAVEN and her fund raising efforts for Wildlife Conservation and her participation in the Race for the Cure and the Heart Walk.
