Springdale Company Presented Statewide Achievement Award

J.V. Manufacturing Inc. earned the Achievement Level award after participating in the Arkansas Governor’s Quality Award program.
Gov. Mike Beebe presented the award to company representatives during the 17th annual awards celebration recently in Little Rock.
“We are honored to receive the award,” Chris Weiser, president and CEO of J.V. Manufacturing, said in a news release. “It serves as formal recognition for our ongoing commitment to the continuous improvement of our business processes and our focus on improved business results.”
J.V. Manufacturing, founded in 1978, is a leading manufacturer of industrial waste and recycling equipment.
The privately owned company manufactures the Cram-A-Lot brand of garbage compactors and recycling balers.
The company has participated in the AGQA program the last six years, earning the Commitment Level award in 2005.
Weiser said the company’s goal is to attain the Governor’s Level award in 2013.
