A cancer treatment center is opening in Rogers, according to city planners, who reviewed the large-scale plans Nov. 1.

Landmark Cancer Center will open in a 9,604-SF building at 2526 Pinnacle Hills Parkway, next to Lewis & Clark Outfitters. A 1,700-SF “vault” for radiation treatment is being added to the existing structure, which was built in 2001.

Burke Larkin and Jim P. Knight of Real Practices Inc. in Russellville purchased the property through their 2526 Pinnacle Hills Parkway LLC for $1.4 million on Oct. 24. The previous owners were Steve and Debbie Standridge.

Larkin declined to tell Whispers who was opening the cancer center.

Real Practices, which owns the Willow Creek Office Building near Willow Creek Women’s Hospital in Johnson, specializes in developing health-care facilities.
