We got quite a bit of feedback regarding our look at some of the area’s top executive golfers in the Sept. 19 issue, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.
One question that popped up more than once, though, was why we didn’t include any women on our list. The answer is we tried and came up empty, much to our chagrin.
It’s come to our attention, however, the Executive Women’s Golf Association is interested in establishing a Northwest Arkansas chapter. An information session will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 2 at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers.
Here’s hoping the next chapter is here in Northwest Arkansas. We’ll be sure to check in the next time we’re looking for executive golfers.
