KMAG-FM, 99.1 “Continuous Hit Country” owned by Clear Channel Communications of San Antonio bested competitor KTCS-FM, 99.9 in the 12-year-old and higher demographic. KTCS is owned by Big Chief Broadcasting Co. of Fort Smith.
No. 3 KOMS-FM, 107.3 “Big Country,” owned by Cumulus Media Inc. of Atlanta lost some of its listeners with a decline of 3.4 percent share from the spring of 2009.
At No. 6, KWHN-AM, 1320, a news talk format owned by Clear Channel, is the only AM station in the top 10.
KKBD-FM, 95.9 “Big Dog,” classic rock format, and KZBB-FM, 97.9 “B98,” adult contemporary, tied at No. 8.
