Three area people make list of gubernatorial appointments

Three area people were among the 54 appointments and reappointments to state boards and commissions announced Monday (Sept. 27) by Gov. Mike Beebe.
Ginger Fenter, of Fort Smith, was appointed to the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy. The appointment expires July 1, 2013, and she replaces Seth Coulter.
Ivan Hoffman, of Rudy, was reappointed to the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. The appointment expires July 1, 2014.
Dr. Rob Covington, of Fort Smith, was appointed to the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council. His appointment expires July 1, 2010, and he replaces Rita Shepherd.
