Local people receive gubernatorial appointments, reappointments

Several Fort Smith area people were appointed or reappointed to state boards and commissions by Gov. Mike Beebe.

• Danny King of Greenwood was reappointed to the Board of Electrical Examiners of the State of Arkansas. His appointment expires June 15, 2014.

• Charles Logan of Fort Smith, was reappointed to the Technology Equipment Revolving Loan Fund Committee. His appointment expires June 30, 2013.

• Madeline Martinez, of Fort Smith, was appointed to the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District 12. Her appointment expires Jan. 14, 2014, and she replaces Don Hutchings.
