‘Apprentice’ Winner Will Speak in Rogers
Bill Rancic, best known as the first winner of Donald Trump’s reality TV show “The Apprentice,” will be the keynote speaker on Aug. 5 at the second annual Northwest Arkansas Business Conference & Expo.
The event, which returns to the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers, is a partnership of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, the Arkansas World Trade Center and the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.
The area’s only regional business conference and expo drew more than 250 conference goers and more than 2,000 expo attendees last August. This year’s event will again last from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Additional details will be released as they become available. In the interim, interested parties can contact the Chamber for more information.
Rancic became the first winner of the NBC series by outlasting 17 other top business candidates when the show debuted in 2004. Today he’s a real estate developer and entrepreneur in Chicago and the producer and star of such TV programs as A&E’s “We Mean Business” and the Style Network’s reality series “Giuliana and Bill.” He’s also executive producer of “Repo Man” on The Discovery Channel.
Rancic is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship and business topics and is the author of “Beyond the Lemonade Stand,” the follow-up to his New York Times best-seller “You’re Hired: How To Succeed In Business And Life From The Winner Of The Apprentice.”
