Fort Smith-based Arvest Equipment Finance has announced the formation of its first advisory board. Arvest employees will serve one-year terms, and represent different markets in which the bank is located.

The board members will receive specialized training in February, which will allow them to be better educated in the equipment finance arena as well as enabling them to act as an advocate for Arvest Equipment Finance in their respective markets, noted the Arvest statement.

The board members for 2010 are as follows: Kyle Hubbard of Bartlesville, Okla.; Craig Rivaldo of Fort Smith; Ladd Lanier of Fayetteville; Jim Cargill of Little Rock; James Finch of Oklahoma City; Patrick Scott of Joplin, Mo.; Larry Benson of Lawton, Okla., and Kevin Lackner of Tulsa.

Each year eight new Arvest employees will be nominated to serve.

Arvest Equipment Finance is a division of Arvest Bank, is based in Fort Smith, and works with more than 230 bank branches in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
