The sounds of music and motorcycles permeated downtown Van Buren on Saturday (June 13).
Rumbling into downtown was the Old Town Bike Show, and Van Buren’s second “Music in the Park” concert at Blanche Moore Park adjacent to the train depot on Main Street featured musicians Gary Hutchinson and John Magness.
The bike show, which included a poker run, was sponsored by the Old Town Merchants Association, with proceeds benefiting Bikers Against Child Abuse.
The concert series is sponsored by the Van Buren Advertising & Promotion Commission in an effort to bring more visitors to the downtown area by adding entertainment options. The series will run through September,
