B.G. Hendrix continues to find himself in the middle of big happenings.

Hendrix, who served Fort Smith for 34 years as a representative in the Arkansas House of Representatives, was pictured at the Arkansas Capitol on Wednesday (Feb. 18) in the midst — or close enough, anyway — of a conversation between former Governor and President Bill Clinton and former House Speaker and Highway Commissioner John Lipton.

Clinton spoke Wednesday to a joint session of the 87th General Assembly.

Hendrix, 85, served as speaker of the House during one of the terms of then Gov. Bill Clinton. Hendrix also served four years as Sebastian County coroner and was a member of the Sebastian County Quorum Court.

The photo is found here, on a blog by Rep. Steve Harrelson, House Majority Leader from Texarkana.
