NWA Real Estate Web Site Feels Boom

In our Aug. 11 Whispers, we told you about nwabankowned.com, a Web site operated by Ryan Russell, senior vice president at Exit Pinnacle Realty in Rogers.

Just as it did for nwafiresale.com earlier this summer, a mention in the Business Journal set off a flurry of site traffic for Russell.

Russell, who ranked No. 60 on our list of top Realtors with $6.89 million in sales during 2007, put eight houses under contract the week of Aug. 4 when we first spoke to him about the site.

Russell tells us he’d been getting about 10 to 12 visitors to his site each day.

That jumped 900 percent to 100 to 120 people per day after the item ran in this section. He had 17 sales pending two weeks later.
