The Rogers Convention and Visitors Bureau successfully convinced The Poultry Federation to move its annual Poultry Festival from Hot Springs to Rogers. The two-day event is expected to bring about 2,500 Poultry Fed members from Oklahoma and Missouri, which equates to about $1 million in economic impact to Northwest Arkansas.

The best part – it’s a three-year deal.

The John Q. Hammons Convention Center will be the headquarters for the event but festival-goers will be taking in area sights with a bass tournament, a golf tournament, a skeet shoot, a horse shoe competition, an auction, a barbecue and a 5K run, in addition to the federation’s annual business meeting and a concert put on by Ultra Suede and Oklahoma-native Blake Shelton.
