Seventeen of the 37 available condominiums at the Legacy Building in Fayetteville are spoken for. The building off Dickson Street opened on May 4.
Units range from $249,900 to $1.5 million and skeptics wondered if people would afford such lofty price points. But apparently, those with the means and the desire have shown interest in the Legacy.
Positive early sales results at Legacy are a welcome sign for other developers of condominium projects on Dickson Street.
The next to come online will be The Lofts at Underwood Plaza that’s being developed by Craig and Bill Underwood, Richard Alexander, Ted Belden, John Nock and Rob Merry-Ship.
The nine-story, 74-unit mixed-use project recently broke ground and remains on schedule to open in August 2008 despite a couple slowdowns due to rain.
