Buffalo Wild Wings To Open in Springdale
B&K Wings LLC plans to begin construction in June on its fourth Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, which will be located in Springdale, said John Bliss. Bliss and Paul Nelson are partners in the franchise company.
The new restaurant should be open by October. The 5,600-SF restaurant will seat 270 people and will have about 75 employees, Bliss said. The stand-alone location doesn’t have a physical address from the city yet, but he said it will be on U.S. Highway 412 west of Interstate 540 in front of the Har-Ber Meadows subdivision.
Bliss told the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal early this year that a stand-alone Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant costs about $2.5 million to build from the ground up.
B&K has plans for at least four more Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in the state: in North Little Rock, Little Rock, Texarkana and Fort Smith. Bliss said the Texarkana lot is under contract, and they have signed letter of intent for a location in the new Target center in Fort Smith.
Buffalo Wild Wings has two locations — Fayetteville’s restaurant in the CMN Business Park opened in December, and the Bentonville restaurant opened in May of last year. According to Bentonville’s tax records, the restaurant brought in $1.16 million in revenue for the eight months it was open last year. The Hot Springs location, the third restaurant, will open in early June.
