Spa Will Open New Location
We hear The Spa Esthetiques plans to build a 10,000-SF location in Metropark, which is down Horsebarn Road from its current location in Pinnacle Hills.
The spa has leased a 6,000-SF space from The Pinnacle Group since 1999 and has four more years left on its lease.
The Pinnacle Group also filed, and then later withdrew, a lawsuit against The Spa Esthetiques in December. According to the court filing, there was an argument over a pink banner the spa hung outside its building. The Pinnacle Group wanted it taken down. Neither party wanted to comment about the lawsuit.
Jennifer Hatfield, senior vice president of corporate affairs for The Spa Esthetiques, said the company plans to maintain two locations, at least until the lease is up at the Pinnacle spot.
Offerings at the spa range from $15 for a man’s haircut to $145 for a facial peel.
In December, another Pinnacle Group tenant, Bon Terre, opened shop. Both spas offer Aveda products, although Bon Terre is the region’s only Aveda “lifestyle” salon.
Catherine Holmes has owned Spa Esthetiques for seven years and the business has been around for 17.
