AERT 4Q Unaudited Sales Up 55 Percent

Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. reported fourth-quarter unaudited gross sales of $24 million, up 55 percent from $15.5 million during the same time last year, according to the company’s press release.
The Springdale company, which makes composite wood building materials, had a 37 percent increase in unaudited gross sales for the 2005 fiscal year, up from $65.2 million in 2004 to $89.6 million.
In November, AERT reported third-quarter profit of $1.65 million, or 4 cents per share, up from $1.5 million during the same quarter last year.
The company also reported a 21 percent revenue increase, with sales reaching about $23 million during the quarter. Revenue was about $19 million during the same quarter last year.
