Developers Plan 30,000-SF Building for Sara Lee Corp.
Developers Dan Dykema, Mark Marquess and Rick McCollough are building a new 30,000-SF Bentonville building that will be leased entirely to Chicago-based Sara Lee Corp.
Sellers Properties started dirt work about two weeks ago on the four-acre site on South Walton Boulevard. It’s about 1.5 miles from the home office of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. The vendor’s facility will be two stories tall.
Harrison French Architecture, along with engineer CEI Engineering Associates Inc., both of Bentonville, designed the building, which will have a brick and stucco exterior and a smaller second story. It should be finished about a year from now.
Aside from its namesake, Sara Lee owns brands such as Hanes, Wonderbra, Hillshire Farm, Jimmy Dean, Earth Grains and Ambi Pur.
