CIOs Suggest Networking To Start Successful IT Career
The emphasis being placed on network management by companies such as VeriSource Inc. in Rogers, the high-end, high-tech firm at Pinnacle Point, has not gone unnoticed. A recent study of 1,400 chief information officers from U.S. companies with 100 or more employees found that 29 percent of IT executives said network management is the best career path for those entering the field.
The survey was developed by Robert Half Technology Inc., a leading provider of IT professionals for projects and full-time basis with local offices in Northwest Arkansas. Katherine Spencer Lee, RHT’s executive director, said networking expertise is crucial to “data sharing and business-critical applications.”
