HondaPro Offers Dealership Quality Service at Lower Price
Born and raised with Honda brand cars, Tim McClelland and his nephew, Seth McClelland, have found success in their Fayetteville Honda sales and service center, HondaPro. Honda, which aids with technical support and regular bulletins, recognizes and certified the operation. Both men are Honda-dealer trained.r
The McClellands said they have a combined total of 33 years of experience with Hondas.r
“We use all Honda parts and provide the same quality of work as a dealership, just at a lower price,” Seth McClelland said.r
Tired of the management and practices of the “mega-dealerships,” the two still enjoy their line of work. r
That led to the opening of HondaPro in March. In mid-July, the McClellands purchased HondaTech, formerly of Springdale, and transferred clients to the Fayetteville store.r
HondaPro, which has been a success since its opening, occupies about 4,000 SF. The uncle-nephew team foresees that within a year the operation will have to move to a larger facility to keep up with business and house more equipment and employees.r
HondaPro’s success has come mainly from its attempt at a one-day turnaround and quality of services, Seth McClelland said.r
“Our cars are always fixed right the first time,” the younger McClelland said.r
HondaPro also sells used Hondas. The McClellands offer completely reconditioned Hondas with a six-month, 6,000-mile warranty. Offering higher trade-ins than a dealership, Seth McClelland said that the used vehicles are sold as fast as they arrive.
