Doe?s Dough

You probably heard that Jim and Teresa Huson are going to open a Doe’s Eat Place in Bentonville, but the Husons have been tight lipped about how much they paid for the 3,670-SF building at 2806 S. Walton Boulevard that previously housed Kenny’s Fifties Club.

So we just had to check with the assessor in Benton County. The building was appraised in 2002 for $372,700.

Jim Huson said he plans to build a new kitchen and a private dining room, expanding the existing building to about 5,000 SF.

Huson said he plans to open the restaurant by July 1. He also owns two restaurants in Fayetteville: Doe’s Eat Place and Big Daddy’s Sports Bar & Grill.
