Brioso Brazil Provides Unique Dining

Brioso Brazil opened Aug. 6 in the 7,000-SF building at 3607 Magellan Blvd. in Bentonville that previously housed Molly Maguires.

The business is owned by Dave Godwin and Dave Strong of Restaurant Management Group LLC in Springdale. The group owns The Marketplace Grill in Springdale and The Marketplace Express in the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville.

Godwin described Brioso Brazil as “an American churrascaria.”

“We parade the meat around the building and serve it at the table,” Godwin said.

The theme, which is common in some South American countries, is to grill meats in the kitchen and deliver them on a stick to diners at their tables. The diner then selects the meat he wants, and it’s carved for him there.

The churrascaria dinner is $28 and includes all the grilled meat you can eat. The menu also includes a couple of seafood entrees in the same price range.

Brioso Brazil can seat about 180 diners. The restaurant has a dining room that can be closed off from the rest of the building and used for meetings.

Brioso Brazil serves dinner only and is open from 5 p.m. until an undetermined closing time (around 10 p.m.) Monday through Saturday.
